So what's a Code Camp and why are they so worthwhile you ask?
Code Camps were started right here in New England in Spring 2004 as a way to bring developers together in an informal setting to share code and network with their peers. The basic principle is any developer regardless of ability or experience is provided an opportunity to share their code with fellow developers. The Code Camp Manifesto summarizes all the principles of Code Camp.
So here's how it works. If you'd like to do a presentation 1) Register for the Code Camp, then 2) go to the list of presentations and submit an abstract. There is no review process so EVERY abstract will be accepted, that's part of the guiding principle of a Code Camp. Abstracts must be submitted no later than Monday 3/24/2008.
If you just want to attend please register so we can account for space and food. Join us for your first Code Camp or as a returning veteran. Hope to see you the weekend of April 5-6, 2008!
